The New Internet Marketing Trend - Streaming Web Audio

Putting MP3 audio files on the Internet isnt something new or recently invented, technology, it has been making noise online for quite a number of years, but has never had been quite so popular and talked about as it is in todays internet market. There is definitely a buzz around it today.

When I first started multimedia design seven years ago, MP3 audio files were already spread around the Internet. MP3s popularity rose rapidly after Napster released their P2P file sharing network program in 1999.

Because the MP3 file size is much smaller then MOV, WAV audio format, and has better sound quality, it didnt take too long for MP3 to become a major digital audio format of Internet.

Today, it continues to dominate the Internets audio market, and has remained unchanged as the best choice among digital audio music formats.

Historically, there was a lack of Internet speed and the size of computer hard disks and ROMs were relatively small and expensive. Especially MP3 files had to be converted from MOV or WAV file formats and the audio recording, editing hardware and software was very complicated to use, as well as very expensive and only professional studios had deep enough pockets to purchase.

Therefore, it had never been an easy tool for Internet marketers and web developers to use to their advantage. I can still remember the struggles to compress the audio files, and balancing the quality of the sound, to make it 28.8kbps modem compatible.

Very few business websites had web audio in their website, and the ones who did were only there as background music. There wasnt any marketing purpose or strategy behind it. It was largely designers showing off their advanced tricks, trying to impress their employers, essentially an e-toy for website designers.

Today, the Internet bandwidth is no longer a major impediment to Internet multimedia data transferring. Technology continues to evolve at lightning speed, computers now have massive capacities and the price of hardware has dramatically dropped, making it possible for web hosting company to provide a large amount of server space for website owners to store and transfer audio and video content, at an enormously low cost.

But the price of audio editing software remained relatively high, with more advanced features, but still posed a barrier to Internet marketers who intended to make audio a part of their Internet marketing.

This presented an opportunity for Internet Marketers and software developers. Together, they have worked out these issues, limiting seldom used advanced features, keeping only the most utilized, and developed a much more simple software for web audio recording.

This new web audio software and related services has been sold and used by Internet marketers and online business owners throughout the past few years and the results are quite convincing.

Some have claimed their sales conversion rate to have increased by 40) just by adding the audio sales litter on their web page. Can this be true? I will discuss this in more depth in another issue, but absolutely, web audio and video added a new depth, a new dimension to Internet marketing. It is mainly used for audio newsletters, web audio sales letters, audio testimonials, recorded tele-seminars, raining materials and more.

It is a very simple piece of software. If you know how to talk, and how to click, you can record your message and put it online. No experiences or technical know-how necessary, no special equipment needed, except a microphone connected to your computer.

I still use the advanced Pro version audio/video production software for my complicated projects, but I like to use this small, and feature-focused software for the smaller single task projects, because of the simplicity and the time saving. And the price of the software is so cheep!

For those who dont have a computer, cant figure out how to plug in the microphone into their computer, or are too lazy to do so, some marketers have even designed a telephone system for recording audio files for them.

You simply pick up phone, dial their number, record your message on their system, and they will deliver your audio file to your website. But you have to pay a monthly fee for your laziness, and you still have to pick up your phone and dial the number.

Some dedicated web hosting companies, such as the one I use, ThirdSphere, also jumped onto this new trend, including related features in their service package to gain sales. It provides Flash Audio Generator, Flash Video Generator software, and helps web designers to convert their pre-recorded audio and video file to a lightweight FLV file to be put online.

As a new highly effective Internet marketing method, streaming web audio and video will continue to grow in the Internet marketing realm and continue to grasp at Internet marketers and visitors attention for a number of yeas, until the day when all sites on Internet have a voice and talk to us.

Protect Your Computer

I will have to be first when I admit I am addicted to the Internet. Whenever Ive got a spare hour, I love to just surf around as a form of entertainment. I have also found out about the world of download. I can take the best in modern music and DVD and watch or listen as I do whatever else I want. This is the kind of thing that absolutely anyone could become addicted to. Whatever entertainment you want for the cost of your Internet connection! Wow.

As perhaps you would expect, when I am online all the time I run into a few problems that I have had to deal with. When downloading, you are simply asking for problems when these files are not being scanned before you actually download them. I lost all information from my hard disk before, and that includes my financial records, my photographs and the all the games, and DVDs and music which I had downloaded along the way.

Before, I just had some anti-virus software called Norton which was just on my computer when I bought it. I thought it worked fine but occasionally some viruses would get through. Yes only occasionally, but this is not good enough when your computer could just crash at any given time. This is a problem that you have to tackle before some malware or spyware penetrates your hard drive or the internals of your computer. My friend's PC just started switching off whenever it pleased as a result of this and the same thing could easily happen to you.

So basically what I would recommend is that you do not surf the Internet, then your current protection will probably be ok. However if you do, then you absolutely have to upgrade your virus package.

So now I dont rely on any rubbish package for anti-virus protection. You simply have to update your as well if you want to protect your computer. Because the Internet changes every minute, so does the viruses that your anti-virus software has to tackle. That is why you need software which automatically updates itself via your Internet connection. Think about when a new virus pops-along. Will your two-year old package be able to defend your computer? I do not think so some how.

And other thing that you need from anti-virus software is something that will come with support functionality. Imagine when you realize that you have zero idea how to upload your software. You need a call-center that is going to ensure you can get it working on your computer. You should actually get software which directly meets your surfing habits. If you do not then you are just asking for problems to happen. Look at the software and ask questions. Will this be able to handle downloading from peer-to-peer networks?

Basically, if you spend your time online or even if you work from the Internet then you cannot afford not to invest in some quality anti-virus protection. Having some rubbish package is better than nothing, however things are far more sophisticated these days, and you really need something that is going to work. It is a wise investment, and think how much money you will save once you start downloading free stuff online?

Web Host Reliability - What You Absolutely Must Demand in Order to Get The Most Bang for Your Buck

Low prices mean nothing if they don't come with reliable web hosting.

There is a clear correlation between the reliability and the longevity of most web hosting companies. And while it is intuitively obvious that these traits go hand in hand, there is quite a bit more to it than just a simple correlation.

The fact is that it takes both money and talent to provide low cost, reliable web hosting services. And as a web hosting companys business volumes grow, the complexities of maintaining reliability grow exponentially.

Great Hosts

The most reliable web hosting providers are the ones who are adept at using state of the art system management tools to ensure optimum performance and minimal service disruption. The very best of them employ redundant servers and mirror sites that instantly take over when one or more servers experience the inevitable glitches that create service interruptions.

How they do this is not really the concern of most webmasters who host their sites with them. What matters is that they can count on their websites being available all the time and accessible with great speed.

Two ways to find reliable low cost yet reliable web hosting services

One way is to examine the web hosts service guarantee. This will always be expressed as an availability percentage, always greater than 99%. But 99% is not very good at all if you are going to operate a serious business online.

The fact is that 99% availability calculates out to a web site that is down the equivalent of 22 four hour periods per year, hardly acceptable in an age of 24/7 customer expectations. And this doesnt even count availability impacted by network problems outside the web host's control.

So what should you be looking for? All truly reliable web hosting companies offer uptime guarantees in the 99.8 99.9 range without a lot of fine print.

A second way is to verify access speeds. You can easily do this yourself by trying to access the web sites of the hosting companys other clients at various times of the day, week, month, or quarter. If its always speedy then thats a pretty good indicator of what you can expect for your web site.

If playing mystery shopper at all hours of the day and night is a bit too tedious for you, there are a number of services such as Alexa.Com who publish speed ratings. For example, you can see that this site, Web-Host-Watch, ranks in the top 4 percent of all web sites in terms of access speed.

No matter whose web hosting services you choose, there is no reason to accept anything less than speedy access and 24/7 reliable web hosting.

Another important trait of all great web hosting providers is: flexibility.

Make The Most Of Your Caravan Holiday

Whether you are thinking of taking a caravan holiday for the first time or you return to the same park every year, there are some ways you can make the most of your time away.

Static caravans have increased in popularity in recent years. Caravans are larger and better-fitted than ever before, making them an affordable and comfortable accommodation option for many holidaymakers. With enough space to accommodate a family, and fully fitted bathroom and kitchen facilities, they provide an ideal base for exploring the local beach, countryside and tourist attractions.

Make the most of your caravan holiday by planning ahead. In the UK, we cant always rely on fabulous weather, so you need to make sure that you have plans for bad weather days as well as sunny ones. A little bit of research before you leave home is all it takes to help you decide how to manage your holiday time.

Check the weather forecast its possible to check the weather forecast at least 5 days in advance, and whilst it might not be 100% accurate, it will give you a good idea of what sort of weather to expect when youre away. This might help you pack and decide what else you need to take to keep you occupied.

Chill or thrill? what sort of holiday are you looking for? If you just want the chance to relax on the beach or spend time catching up on your reading, then a caravan holiday is ideal with most parks just a few hundred yards from the beach, you can spend all day in the sun without having to worry about parking, driving home or forgetting to bring lunch. Or just sit outside your caravan so that everything you need is to hand. For the more adventurous, many seaside resorts offer amusements, rides and other entertainment, or try a range of water sports and other activities.

Check online the internet is a great resource for people visiting a destination for the first time, or looking for something new to do. Check out the area youre travelling to, and find out what there is to see and do. This helps you to create a checklist before you go, so that you dont waste time when you get there.

Sherwood Caravans has been hiring static caravans to holiday makers for over 40 years. To find out more, visit our website by clicking on http://www.sherwoodcaravans.co.ukKylie Blog72093

Butterfly Marketing Explained

The phrase Butterfly Effect refers to the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that ultimately causes a tornado, in essence a small event occurred that eventually caused a larger event. So what does this have to do with online marketing? A lot!

Butterfly marketing is simply doing small changes throughout your current business model that will in turn end up making you more money then you usually make and keep advertising costs to a minimum.

To understand Butterfly Marketing better I purchased a book called The Butterfly Manuscript by Mike Filsaime, a brilliant online marketer. He was able to perform everything he explains in this book and eventually bring me to his website and purchase the book. He made $100 off me in the blink of an eye!

But Im only one person! He amplified these same tactics over and over again until he eventually made $2.55 million dollars in just 8 months. Wow amazing stuff! I decided to apply these same tactics to two of my companies.

Within one month I had accumulated over 10 new affiliates which are still marketing my products and sold over 30 additional copies of my products. At $50 a piece thats $1500 in extra revenue that I would have never saw if I never purchased his book.

Arizona Diamondbacks Game Tickets - Follow Your Diamondbacks All Year Long!

It is spring training time. All of your favorite baseball stars are returning to their training, and getting ready for what they hope to be a great year. If you are an Arizona Diamondbacks fan like I am, you know how exciting this time of year is. But as Arizona Diamondbacks tickets get more and more popular, it gets more and more difficult to get them. Nowadays, it seems that if you do not buy Arizona Diamondbacks tickets online literally months ahead of when the game is scheduled to go on, you will not have any chance at all of seeing it.

That is a shame if you have a job like I do. You see, my job keeps me traveling a lot, and I really only know a week or two in advance when I would be able to go see a game. There is no point in buying tickets for the Arizona Diamondbacks online if on that day I am half way around the world and have to choice but to miss the game entirely. It is a shame, but I cant change my career even though I love to see my home team shining during show time. The sad news is that I might not be getting any Arizona Diamondbacks tickets any time soon.

Of course, there are other ways to get Arizona Diamondbacks tickets. I have a friend who is an even bigger fan of the team then I am, and he always has season Arizona Diamondbacks tickets. True box seats too. Often, he will invite me along to a game if it turns out that I am really going to be in town when it happens, but that goes on less and less now. We both have such busy schedules, that he barely has time to invite his clients with his Arizona Diamondbacks tickets, and I am almost never in town on a weekend which is good for him. That is really too bad since I am a huge fan and have not had my share of viewing.

Of course, besides online Arizona Diamondbacks tickets, there are always people who hoard tickets and reselling them at break-neck prices. Yeah, I know what you think. I hate to use them too, and they make me cringe. They are the reason that I can hardly ever get Arizona Diamondbacks tickets in the first place, but still, is there choice? If the only way that I can go see an Arizona Diamondbacks game now and then is to buy from a scalper, I might just have to rein in my pride and anger from time to time and go to buy from him. As long as I get into the stadium, thats all that matters.

5 Key Steps To Building A Network Marketing Business.

Step 1: Research, Research, Research.

There are so may different Network Marketing companies out there these days that it is very important that you do a lot of research before you jump right in. The last thing that you want to have happen is find yourself broke in a company that isnt going anywhere.

When doing your research there are a few very important things that you need to look at. One of them is the marketability of your network marketing company. You want a company that makes it easy to get your name out there and has a strong reputation online. Marketability should be the most important aspect of your decision making process. Another thing that you need to look at is the compensation plan. We all want to be paid well, right? Looking closely at the compensation plan will help make that happen. Also, it is important to look at the product that is being sold and whether it is marketable. Though product matters, the ability to market that product is more important. Finally, it is crucial that the company if fully integrated online. You should be able to look at products, place orders, and sign up new representatives all online. This will make it much easier to expand your business. Find these things and you should be ready to go.

Step 2: Contacting Your Sponsor

Once you have done all your research and signed up for the company, give your sponsor a call (remember, if the network marketing company is entirely online there is a good chance that you havent talked to your sponsor). Tell your sponsor a little about yourself and there you are serious when it comes to your new business. This will help to build a strong relationship that will help you in the future.

Step 3: Setting Up A Foundation

This is a business, this isnt a game Mighty Ducks

You are starting up a business that will eventually give you the freedom and the financial stability that you have always wanted, so run it like a business. Set up a monthly budget to keep track of your finances. List a specific amount for advertising that you can meet without breaking the bank. Also, organize your company by keeping written records of transactions as well as copy of receipts. You want to know how you money comes in and goes out. This is kind of a pain but will pay off in the long run.

Step 4: Grand Opening

Now is the time for the grand opening of your business. So what do most business owners do when they open a business they advertise.

There are many different ways to advertise out there but in this article I am going mention a few. The ones that seem to work the best for me are PPC (pay per click) such as Googles Adwords, Ezines (online magazines), classified ads, and simply talking in forums. To find out more regarding each of these methods simple do a search for them in Google or Yahoo. There is plenty of information about each of these topics on the Internet, so spend some time looking around.

Step 5: Follow Up

Once you have your first few members make sure to follow up with them. This is very important. By following up with them you are able to build a strong relationships that will help to grow your team. Now simply teach them how to repeat these steps to build their business. Remember, you will never be successful until you are able to teach your new signups how to repeat what you have done.

I wish you all the best.

The Secret Weight Loss Machine

There is a piece of equipment available in many gyms and homes that has been shown in tests to be unsurpassed for assisting in your weight loss goals - want to know what it is?

The Treadmill - exercising on Treadmills has helped many people to achieve their weight loss goals - and it can help you too.

Treadmills can be used by virtually any age group, and by individuals of any activity level. Treadmills can help you lose weight, and maintain your weight loss. It really is a numbers game. The more time you spend engaged in physical exercise the more calories you are going to burn and consequently the more pounds you will lose.

If you are searching for fitness equipment that will not only burn fat, but will also raise your metabolism to continue burning fat long after youve stopped exercising, then a treadmill should be at the top of your list.

The treadmill is matchless for cardiovascular exercise. According to a recent study, calories burned on the treadmill for 60 minutes averaged 865 - 705. Compare this figure to the following:

Stair machine 746 - 637 Rowing machine 739 - 606 Stationary cycle 604 - 556 Cross-country ski machine 678 - 595

As you can see the treadmill comes out as the number one cardiovascular machine.

If you would like to develop your own weight loss treadmill program here are some ideas:

Be creative - make your Treadmill session pleasurable, listen to music or audio books on your MP3 player. Some people prefer to just take the opportunity to think or just day dream. The more you enjoy your Treadmill session, the more likely you are to exercise on your treadmill regularly.

Try to exercise daily. Working out on your Treadmill regularly makes your weight loss goals much more likely to happen than if you are only working out only when the mood takes you. Most people that make the switch will tell you that it's easier to workout every day. You don't have to think about whether it's a workout day or not and get prepared for it - just exercise on your treadmill every day - your body will become accustomed to it. It will soon become part of your routine and you will begin to look forward to it.

Try to mix in some interval training into your Treadmill sessions each week. Interval training consists of brief periods (about one minute) of more intense exercise incorporated into your Treadmill workouts. You may do a one minute interval of faster walking about every five minutes throughout your workout.

Start with a three to five minute warm-up and then five minutes into your walk you do your first interval, one minute of faster walking. At the end of that minute you should be out of breath and ready to slow down. Slow down to your regular walking speed for the next four minutes and then your fifth minute is another one minute interval. Repeat this throughout your workout.

By this means you can increase your aerobic fitness level to the limits of your ability. You are in essence crossing the anaerobic threshold into anaerobic metabolism, this forces your body to accept more intense exercise which will in turn make your weight loss gains more achievable.

By increasing your basal metabolic rate, interval training cause you to burn more calories a day, and make your exercise less monotonous. Interval training also helps the time pass more quickly. Try walking on your Treadmill with light hand weights of between one and two pounds weight for two to three days per week. Swing your arms and also use a variety of arm movements while walking. This will increase your basal metabolic rate and tone your upper body muscles.

Try to do your Treadmill workout first thing in the day. Most people who workout regularly, do so first thing in the morning. If YOU want to exercise regularly, you are more likely to succeed by being an "early bird"

In order to add a bit more variety to your routine set one day of the week aside to be your "easy day". This should be a very leisurely session. Consider how good your walks are starting to feel as you continue to lose weight and tone your body.

You have probably heard the expression "if you can't measure it, then it doesn't exist". With this in mind make sure that you record your progress. Record the date and time-of-day of your workout, and the distance and/or time you walked. Record the total of the miles or minutes you've walked. Your thoughts or feelings for that particular workout can also be logged.

All of the above measures will help to ensure that your Treadmill Exercise Session is that one special time of day to take care of yourself. Don't let anyone or anything keep you from your special time with your Treadmill. Working out on your Treadmill every day will help you achieve your weight loss goals and have a positive impact on all aspects of your life, including physical, mental, and emotional health.

If we only consider the issue of weight loss, the Treadmill is significantly superior to any other exercise machine given its associated energy expenditure. While other fitness equipment "fads" gather dust Treadmills have consistently provided quality results and lasting benefits. Treadmills allow you to work at your own pace, but don't allow you to slack off. You'll be able to burn calories efficiently and attain your weight loss targets.

Home Theatre Speakers - What You Need To Know

Speaker types

There are four basic home theater speaker categories: towers, satellites, subwoofers, and center channels. A tower speaker is a tall, freestanding model capable of reproducing a full range of sound. Satellites, which can be used as both front or rear-channel (surround) speakers, are small, bass-limited models designed to be paired with a subwoofer - a dedicated speaker for reproducing both bass and the low-frequency-effects channel in Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks. And a center channel speaker is a horizontally oriented satellite that's designed to reproduce dialog.

Freestanding vs. on-wall

In the past, home theater speakers were usually installed alongside big-screen TVs - either freestanding or placed on top of speaker stands. But many new models are on-wall designs that come with wall-mounting hardware. One advantage to these kinds of speakers is that they get positioned on walls where they don't take up any room space. A second advantage is that their slim, wall hugging design nicely complements flat-panel plasma and LCD TVs.

Do you really need a center channel?

With some systems - especially those built around a large, slim rear-projection TV - finding a place to put the center channel speaker can be a problem. Although you can get by without using one, it's not recommended - center channel speakers are specifically designed to reproduce voices. You'll find that movie dialog will sound much clearer when you use them. So instead of bypassing the center speaker or using the TV's built-in speakers as a center channel substitute (a terrible option, since the tonal balance of your TV's speakers isn't likely to match that of your other speakers), look for an alternative mounting method. Speaker wall mounts make a fine option, especially with flat-panel TVs. Most TV stands also include storage shelves that can hold a small center channel speaker.

Speaker connections. A variety of connectors can be found on the back of speakers.

A spring-clip connector is a plastic, spring-loaded clamp that's usually found on the back of inexpensive speakers. The connection provided by spring clips isn't as secure as other types, and they can only accept bare speaker wire.

Binding posts are a step-up connection option found on high-quality speakers. There are two types of binding posts: regular and five-way. Regular types accept both banana plug and spade-lug connectors on speaker cables. The connection they provide is very secure, and in some cases the connector is also gold-plated to prevent oxidation - a condition that can potentially degrade performance. And five-way binding posts, which accept bare wire and pin-type connectors in addition to banana plugs and spade lugs, offer even more hookup flexibility than regular types.

In-wall and in-ceiling speaker + and

For those who prefer to keep their audio/video equipment out of sight, in-wall and in-ceiling speakers make a great alternative to regular models. Although the sound quality of in-wall and in-ceiling models is generally a notch below that of regular speakers, they can be mounted inside of cutout cavities in the walls or ceiling of your room where they won't take up any space. Both types are also designed to contain vibrations within the cabinet, so you won't have to worry about rattling the walls during action movies. Installation of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers involves running wires through the walls and/or ceiling of your home. If you're an experienced DIY type, you might be up to that task, but for most people it's best left to a custom installer.

Surround speaker considerations: direct-radiating, dipolar, and bipolar There are several options to consider when choosing surround sound speakers for your system.

Direct-radiating models fire sound directly out from the speaker's front baffle toward the listener's ears. These are a good all-purpose surround sound speaker choice since their clear, focused dispersion pattern can accurately convey the directional sound effect pans in DVD soundtracks.

Dipolar models radiate sound from both the speaker's back and front, with the opposing driver sets wired out-of-phase with each other. This design offers a more diffuse, spacious sound than a direct-radiating model while retaining some of the latter's focused dispersion characteristics. (Dipolar models are favored for THX-certified designs specifically because of their diffuse sound, which more accurately resembles what you'd hear in a real movie theater.)

Bipolar models also radiate sound from the front and back, except that in this case both sets of drivers are wired in-phase with one another. This design allows a bipolar speaker to provide the best of both worlds: a direct-radiator's clarity and focus, and a dipole's spaciousness.

What is frequency response, and what should I look for?

The range of audio frequencies that a speaker can reproduce is known as its frequency response. Human hearing extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (20,000 Hz) - a span that few models are able to cover fully. The bass frequencies at the bottom of the range (approximately 20-120 Hz) are the most difficult for a speaker to cover. Satellites don't attempt it at all, but instead pass the task off to a subwoofer - a dedicated bass speaker with drivers large enough to move the massive quantity of air needed to reproduce low frequencies. Since tower speakers usually contain one or more woofers, they generally deliver decent bass. But if you're shopping for tower speakers - especially if you plan to use one in a system where there's no subwoofer - make a point of checking the low end of its frequency response specification. And remember that not all measurements are the same. For example, the bass response of a speaker spec'd at 6 dB at 40 Hz probably won't sound as full as one that measures 3 dB at 40 Hz.

Speaker impedance and selection

Most new speakers are designed to be compatible with a wide range of receivers and audio amplifiers, so specifications like impedance-the measure of a speaker's resistance to electrical power flowing through it as specified in Ohms-generally aren't things you need to worry too much about. But what you should know is that an amplifier has to work harder to drive a speaker with a lower impedance rating than one with a higher rating. Say that your receiver is rated to deliver 100 watts into an 8-ohm load. If your speakers have an 8-Ohm impedance spec, then you aren't likely to encounter any problems. But if your speakers' specified impedance is 4 ohms or less, the chances for that same receiver to overheat and shut down will be increased.

Placement: the final frontier

Many people tend to be casual about where they put their speakers; more often than not, they get shoved into any old space where it's convenient. But speaker placement becomes crucial when setting up a home theater system. You'll want the positioning of surround sound effects in your room to correspond to what's happening on screen, and that will only happen if speakers are set up properly.

Front channel towers or satellite models on stands should ideally be placed equidistant from the TV's sides and about three feet out from the front wall. This setup will heighten imaging and reduce any sound-muddying room reinforcement effects. And your subwoofer should be pushed into a corner of the room to permit the sound-reinforcing effect of adjacent walls to strengthen the bass. While placement guidelines for surround speakers are less strict than those for front speakers, installing them in a high position at the sides and slightly behind the listening area will usually enhance surround sound envelopment.

Afraid Of Making Money

I believe one of the obstacles that keep people from succeeding is one very basic fear:

The fear of making big money.

Not just fear of making money... but the big moolah.

If you don't think that is a fear that is stopping you then you analyze those rich people closely.

Some of them feared making money because their parents were not high earners. If they made more money than their Father, they reasoned, what kind of son or daughter would they be?

Sounds crazy but this is not what we want but what this is what our sub-conscious mind is reminding us.

Others fear that making big money would 'change' them somehow and they would not be the same person anymore- the same person that people know, love and care for.

True story:

I have a friend whose friends are no longer close to her anymore because she has grown to be more successful than them. She has become a 'bigger' person now.

They start to pick on her like...

"She thinks she's the only person busy with her work."

The truth is... she is BUSY with her work and building a strong financial support but her friends don't have that kind of being busy privilege.

And they'll look for her weaknesses to find chances to pick on her.

Are her friends bad? Not really. They're just reacting towards 'change'. Instead of responding, they're reacting.

They'll feel...

"She's not the same person anymore."

Yes, she chanced to be better and wiser.

So if she changes to be more successful, she'll fear that her friends might not like her they way they used to.

That's just one example.

The fear of making big money is REAL. It's in your mind and the only thing that is moving you is YOUR MIND.

However, you may not believe you are influenced by this fear because it sounds really silly.

But think about it for a minute.

Maybe what you really fear is 'change'... and if you made big money it would change you and your life.

That is why most lottery 'millionaires' end up spending or losing most of their winnings a year or so after they've won... they seek 'normal' lives again where nothing ever changes.

It's not hard to make big money... the hard part is giving yourself permission to make it and keep it.

Yes, I said give yourself PERMISSION to start making big money.

The game of becoming rich is an internal one... just like golf, or becoming an Olympic athlete. The problem is inside us... lack of confidence and self-esteem are the enemies.

Don't let fear of making money stop you. Start believing in yourself, check your self-esteem and make a wise informed and profitable choice for your future.

One of the way to solve this is by using... an anchor.

With an anchor, you have the power to do a simple act and you'll instantly be able to eliminate that fear of making money. Sounds interesting, isn't it?

No, this is not trying to use affirmation. It's scientifically proven to work. The 'technology' for using anchoring is introduced in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

This is probably the fastest way to change your emotions instantly.

I'll show you how to experience 'success'.

Think of a time when you have a very successful experience. It can be when you get number #1 in any competition.

It can be an experience when you beat Your competitors to be a winner.

It could even be when your wife agreed to marry you!

Now focus on the feeling of success you have experienced last time. Pull out the memory of how it felt like ... to be successful, to be on top of your game.

Engage that feeling. Are you feeling it?

I know it's hard while reading this article but you'll need to practice it if you want to know how it works.

See yourself when you have achieve success, hear the claps and cheers, remember the smell of room where you're winning the prizes and feel it.

Then it's time for you to create an anchor at that exact moment of time.

Many types of actions can be an anchor for you.

You can twist your ear, move your fingers 5 times, clinch your fist 3 times, rub your hands together, make an arm swing or just do anything you can think of that can have a special meaning for you.

This anchor will be engrossed with the state you in. And the state that you're in at that moment of time is when you're experiencing your successes.

The more passionate or lively the experience, the better anchor you will create.

How Not to Get the Dreaded Termination Email from Google

Recently Google went on a banning spree. Hundreds, possibly thousands of webmasters got a short email from Googles Adsense department informing them of their accounts termination. One only has to look through any popular webmaster message boards and tales of woe abound from those cast off the island.

The cleaning up of the Adsense publisher base seems to have given rise to alternate Adsense programs. Some of these, while boasting better payouts, might not have the same ad quality as Adsense. If youre no longer a part of Adsense or just want to try something new, you can find some of these alternates in a downloadable format on my site or on the web by searching.

There are ways to prevent your account being terminated. One should always familiarize themselves with Adsense TOS (Terms of Service) and send Google and email on any situations youre unsure about. Some of the better known ways to avoid termination are:

* Check your server logs frequently for any abnormal activity. If youre using cPanel, I recommend AWstats. Looks for abnormal spikes in traffic on days and compare against your CTR on Adsense. Anything that looks fishy ask Google to investigate. You might want to offer the use of your server logs for their investigation at the same time.

* Use monitoring software to track clicks on your site. You can get this free by searching online. There are a few out there. Ill compile a list of the more popular ones in a later entry. You can use this to help Google get rid of click fraud by catching suspicious activity first and reporting it to them.

* Dont click on your own ads or encourage others to do the same. Goes without saying. Also avoid checking your Adsense account on public machines or from behind a proxy with any number of users. Should another user on a public machine click on your ads then it registers as an owner click since the IPs are the same. Same goes for machines behind a proxy. Lets say you work in a company with a few hundred users and have an internal network. In all likelihood the external IPs are a small range. This means that Google will see only the IP addresses that are assigned by the companys service provider. If anyone else on that network clicks on your ads, you stand a chance of being banned as Google will see the clicks coming from the same place.

* Dont put Adsense ads on empty pages or with adult or gambling content. Again, self explanatory. Google will catch you sooner than you think. Just remember, their technology can display ads based on your content. If your content is against their TOS, youre gone. This also includes having their ads on pup-ups or pop-unders, be careful with this one if youre purchasing traffic. Use of artificial means of traffic generation such as traffic exchanges will get you kicked out. Some successful blog owners have suggested using traffic exchanges before putting Adsense on your site. This way you get some exposure and maybe some repeat vistors before you implement Adsense.

* If you make a mistake. Let them know. If its really an honest mistake and you havent been clicking on your own ads for a while then you should be able to get a reprieve. Its easier than asking for reinstatement.

To close, these are just some points to follow. Google can change their TOS at anytime and they do seem to ban people in certain periods more heavily. Some say near the 15th which is their payout date. Keep your nose clean and you should be able to continue making Adsense work for you.

That's Entertainment: Adding Some Show Biz to Your Tradeshow Exhibit

What makes one tradeshow exhibit memorable and another so-so? What can exhibitors do to get attendees talking after the show? What can motivate visitors who may have had no previous intention of visiting your booth decide that they definitely have to stop by?

Entertainment! According to tradeshow research, live presentations are the third most important reason why people remember the exhibit. Numbers one and two? Booth size and product interest. If you've got a limited exhibiting budget, hiring entertainment may be a cost-effective way to attract attention to your company without springing for the larger, pricier display space.

What are your options?

Entertainment options at tradeshows are almost endless. Any form of live presentation can work, including:

staged product demonstrations
theatrical skit
magician
game show
choreography
video
audio
robot
singers or musicians

The key is to have entertainment that acts as an integral part of your marketing message. To do this, you need to know a few things:

What type of entertainment will appeal to your target audience?

A robot that dispenses free samples might go over big at a tech show but fall flat at a pet care industry show. Conversely, those wired types might be more puzzled than pleased by a troop of trained terriers. Know your target audience.

How much product information do you want to convey via the entertainment?

Some entertainment formats are better than others for educating attendees about your products and services. Product demonstrations, especially those that draw participants from the audience, are a great way to get the crowd focused on what you're selling. Other acts focus on simply getting the company name and logo out there, such as a magician who uses the company's name as the 'Magic Word'.

What is your corporate image?

Any entertainment you select should positively reflect your company's image. This goes beyond a Western Wear company selecting a country singer to entertain the crowds -- attendees will hold you to a higher standard than that. Research the acts you're proposing to hire. Some acts may not be appropriate for mainstream companies -- ask to see a video of an average performance and ask yourself how would your customer base view the images.

With those questions in mind, decide what kind of entertainment you'd like to have and who will perform for the crowds. If you've decided on live product demonstrations, you may be able to use your own staff members, but other than that, you're generally better off hiring a pro.

How to Make the Most of Your Money

Hiring a professional entertainer is an expense. Ensure you get your money's worth by doing the following:

Identify how the presentation helps achieve your goals -- let the entertainer know clearly what you expect for them to do.

Create promotional activities centering around the entertainment. From pre-show direct mailings to on the floor interactions with attendees, make frequent mention of the event and have an incentive that will encourage attendees to visit your booth.

If your staff is not on stage, find ways to involve them in the presentation. Use them to gather the crowd or to capture and monitor pertinent information during the presentation. Let them know it's okay to be enthusiastic about the performance -- excitement is contagious, and you want an excited crowd.

What to Avoid

Good entertainment is expensive, bad entertainment can cost more than you will ever imagine. Protect your company's image and reputation by avoiding the following:

Crass, rude, or offensive acts. There are comedians who do very well with off color or hurtful humor, but the risk of alienating large segments of your consumer base by sponsoring one of these acts is too great.

Under-dressed entertainers. Scantily clad women and barely dressed men wiggling provocatively have no place at most shows. In fact, the aggressive use of "Booth Babes" has been so off-putting that some shows are banning them all together. Unless you're exhibiting an adult-themed show -- ie, one that caters to the sex industry or some travel shows -- have your entertainment keep their clothes on.

Acts that are clearly amateur. Tradeshow audiences are harsh. They won't be tolerant of second rate acts. Hire the best you can afford for better results.

Consider trying more than one memorization technique on your pursuit to improving and enhancing your memorization skill and youll surely feel a lot better after putting the technique to practice.

Mnemonics is a memorization tool which teaches you how to keep up with the important things that you need to remember or the errands that you need to do. Youll notice that learning memorization technique such as peg method, loci or journey system and even the linkword technique; just a few to mention the different classifications of mnemonics, could noticeably change the way youre able to retain information.

But even then, there is no perfect way to maximum memorization skills. It takes a lot of time, effort, motivation and interest for a person to be able to achieve something. And with memorization, the mentioned four are all important. This doesnt even include yet the special skills like creativity and imagination. If you try to think about it, all of the factors mentioned here, especially the memorization skills are all part of the big picture enhancing memorization.

Even experts suggests that in order for a person to remember better is for him to take initiative in reading, reflecting about what he has read, reciting it out loud and reviewing it afterwards to complete the process of remembering efficiently. Prior to that, a general view of what you need to memorize (e.i a law book) then backing it up with questions you could possibly ask along the way helps establish an even concrete studying goal.

After this stage, you can then choose a mnemonic technique you desire to help you create a connection of what you have just absorbed according to your own familiarities. Playstation

Playstation

By the end of this article, you should have gained enough new knowledge on this subject to be able to explain its main points to another person.

The PlayStation 3 is the third videotape ready console of the PlayStation call from Sony notebook Entertainment. It is the successor to the awfully successful PlayStation 2. The PlayStation 3 competes with Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation of videotape ready consoles.

The important configuration of the console has a 20 GB inner hard send. The "premium" make of the PlayStation 3 comes with an inner 60 GB 2.5" soap ATA hard send, IEEE 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, various moment recall license readers (SD/MultiMedia license, CompactFlash, recall affix) and skin a chrome-decorated neat. Both consoles mark a silver-decorated textbook logo on the top face of the approach. The hard send is upgradeable, with the ordinary soap ATA boundary. No formal Wi-Fi or moment recall license adapters have yet been open by Sony, while procedure for such add-ons are in place. Nevertheless, as both values mark four USB 2.0 ports, wireless networking and moment recall license assist can already be obtained through the use of broadly presented outside USB adapters. No high-definition videotape cables are involved; instead, a composite videotape/stereo audio cable ships with the approach. While Sony has open an formal PS3 factor cable, the formal PS2 factor cables are compatible with the PS3, as both consoles use the same AV Multi Out jack. The converse is firm as well; formal PS3 factor cables work with the PS2. In tramp 2007, papers scraped by Sony with the FCC hinted at the launch of a new text of the PS3 with an 80 GB hard send. In April 2007, a Bloomberg word quoted Sony spokesman Satoshi Fukuoka as aphorism that the band is genuinely considering introducing a standard with a bigger hard send.

The PlayStation 3 is based on open and overtly presented application programming boundarys. Sony has unusual numerous technologies and approved numerous sublicensing agreements to start an higher software development kit for developers. In addition, in 2005 Sony purchased SN Systems, a previous source of Microsoft Windows-based development tools for a make of console platforms; plus PlayStation 2, GameCube, PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS to start additional GNU development tools.

What we have explored up to now is the most important information you need to know. Now, lets dig a little deeper.

Open ordinarys for OpenGL, matrix algorithms, and fuss facts are precise by the Khronos Group, and are projected to work with nVidia's Cg programming tongue. sight facts are stored with COLLADA v1.4, an open, XML-based scrape plan. Rendering uses PSGL, a tailored make of OpenGL ES 1.0 (OpenGL ES 2.0 yielding excluding for the use of Cg instead of GLSL), with extensions specifically estimated at the PS3. Other specifications involve OpenMAX, a collection of speedily, oppose-platform tools for broad "media acceleration," such as matrix calculations, and OpenVG, for hardware-accelerated 2D vector graphics. These specifications have GPL, open for any use, and/or commercial implementations by third parties. Sublicensed technology involves perfect ready engines, physics libraries, and unusual libraries. Engines involve Epic's replica engine 3.0. Physics libraries involve AGEIA's PhysX SDK, NovodeX, and Havok's physics and spirit engines. Other tools involve Nvidia's Cg 1.5 (a C-like shading tongue, which HLSL was based leading), SpeedTree RT by Interactive records Visualization, Inc. (high-trait virtual flora in genuine time), and Kynogon's Kynapse 4.0 "large magnitude A.I.".

Sony has considered with IPv6, the next generation of the Internet Protocol. Some titles, such as Genji: existence of the Blade and pucker Racer 7, tolerate users to settle 4-5 GB of ready facts to the hard send, which dramatically improves fill time. In Genji, for example, the cached facts reduces fill time from 15 seconds to around 4 seconds. This has been proven.

Just, Sony announced a new toolset that will be open to all developers known as 'PlayStation border' that will proposal awfully optimized lightweight libraries for cabal SPUs. These libraries will supply system for spirit, compression (estimated to awfully help filling time), and many more skin. The container will also supply 'GCM repeat', a robust RSX profiling tool to tolerate developers to increase the most out of the PlayStation 3's graphics disfigure.

VoIP Security

VoIP security has been called in question recently, though there is little evidence to indicate that VoIP security is any less than conventional telephony systems.

VoIP voice data is transmitted via a packet-switched data network using IP. VoIP systems can carry a significant higher number of calls, and very much faster, than traditional PSTN networks due to compression of the voice packets, modern broadband technology and a number of other gateway developments which have reduced the previous packet delivery problems to an extent that the protocol is now a viable mainstream telephony solution to most business needs.

VoIP security should therefore be shown to be at least as effective as that of traditional telephone systems.

There is actually very little difference between VoIP security and that required for any other type of data transmission system. Look on it the same as you do your email system. The same as your office LAN if you have one. You probably have a system in operation whereby only authorized personnel can use certain aspects of the network. VoIP security can, and do, use the same techniques.

However, having said that, lets have a look at potential weak points in VoIP security that budding hackers may see as good points of attack.

IP PBX CALL MANAGEMENT BOXES

PBX stands for Private Branch Exchange, and is piece of software running on a server. Its function is to deal with all the switches and connections involved in the telephone system. These can be attacked by hackers or viruses which could compromise sensitive data. VoIP security systems are designed with this risk in mind.

PBX equipment should be placed behind firewalls, locked down and regularly monitored for unwarranted intrusions using intrusion-detection software. It is also possible to put the server in a different domain from the rest of the system, making it much more difficult for intruders to reach. PBX security is a basic aspect of VoIP security systems

GATEWAYS AND DATA PACKETS

The gateways job is to convert voice to data packets, transmit them then receive and convert the packets back into voice. These are a potential VoIP security risk in that thy can be hacked into unless there is an access-control system in place to prevent unauthorized people from accessing the system. VoIP calls should only be permitted to specific people, and most good VoIP security systems allow only authorized user to operate VoIP systems under password control.

The data packets themselves can be hacked into using data-sniffing techniques. This can be a serious VoIP security risk and packet sniffers, as they are often called, capture binary data passing through your network and can reroute it to a computer on another network for decoding into a readable form. In order to do this, the sniffers has to be on the same network wire as the packet is using to reach its destination. The problem in installing an effective VoIP security system is that there is usually a lot of information passing at any one time, and the hacker has a higher probability of getting useful information than from a conventional telephone system.

Encrypting VoIP traffic and routing it through a virtual private network would reduce the VoIP security risk, and most corporate systems have multiple encryption layers for external messages. Internal security could be improved by running internal VoIP messages through this corporate network. Small businesses should seek the advice of their supplier, or of a security expert if they feel that they may be subject to such attacks.

However, VoIP security advisors can point small to medium companies in the right direction. Corporate VoIP security is generally not so much problem in that it is normally contracted out to expert advisers.

In the final analysis, however, there are no real differences between VoIP security and the normal security concerns associated with any data network service, such as normal office internet and email LANs. The security firewalls and restricted access to use, common on these systems, should suffice to deal with VoIP security

Peter Nisbet is an industrial research chemist with almost a fixation with data transfer systems, starting with audio and video file formats and codecs, and here with telephonic transmission systems which allow what is commonly known as VoIP. His fascination with subject is obvious from his website: http://www.data-voip-solutions.comLaetitia Blog30960

If You Are So Smart Why Aren't You Rich?

It isn't easy to face the truth, isn't it? And you've heard it before, the truth shall set you free! Do you have friends who talk a lot and everything you tried to tell them, they will say "I know" and you know that they don't have much money in the bank and is struggling day to day and month to month! The truth hurts and it really helps if you are willing to face the truth.

This question: "If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?" applies to people who are not willing to face the truth and admit that for things to change they must change. This question will help lots of people if they are honest with themselves.

I first got to know this question on a convention trip in Hawaii where I was introduced to my Chairman's mentor who willingly shared with us tips on achieving success. One effective way he is able to get people to think is to ask them if they have any plans for their retirement. Over 95% of people do not have plans for retirement! He would also ask them if he can speak to them like a brother and sometimes would ask this thought provoking question: "If you're so smart why aren't you rich?"

Riches come in different forms, most people's idea of riches is to own a big beautiful waterfront house, luxurious cars and enjoy the lifestyle of the rich and famous. You can feel rich and be happy if you have enough to pay all your bills with much left which means you are enjoying positive cash flow! You will also feel rich if you have enough to last you for the rest of your life without working, you don't really need to have a big house with a swimming pool and big cars and expensive watches and jewelry to be considered rich?

There are many rich people who are miserable and not happy at all and that is not being truly rich! So being rich can be very subjective but most people will agree that you must have positive cash flow, enough in assets to last you for the rest of your life without working and being happy, living a meaningful life and making a positive difference to people's lives!

I've attended a world famous personal development program called Money & YOU and one of the popular teachings is "The highest form of leverage is...EDUCATION" How much have you invested in educating yourself on personal development and business? Jay Abraham, the world renowned marketing genius, and my marketing guru, has constantly taught his students that marketing can give you great leverage and returns of thousands of percent!

It is obvious that if you want to be rich, you must do what the rich people are doing! Successful people are willing to share how they achieve their wealth and there are no secrets. There are lots of books written on creating wealth and lots of information is freely available from the Internet.

This year I invested over $10,000 to learn more about internet marketing, you must be willing to invest before you can create wealth.

There are no short cuts, you must invest time, money and effort if you are serious about creating wealth! I happily invested $3,995 to learn from Jay Abraham about marketing at his 3-day billion dollar marketing weekend. And there were over 500 people from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore attending this special marketing seminar. And many of the participants were millionaires, CEOs, and top executives. This clearly shows that successful people are constantly investing in themselves.

Here's a great marketing tip for you, it is not how much you put into your business, it is how much your return on investment that you should focus on! If every $100 worth of advertisement gives you a $200 profit can you afford to keep on advertising it again and again? Of course, you will want to do it again and again because you have created a positive cashflow of $100 each time you place an advertisement!

There are literally thousands of people worldwide making decent part-time income through AdWords on the Internet, and it is a good start to generate your seed money for creating wealth! Do you believe you can make money from a 25 cent advertisment? Yes, you can if you have the knowledge on how to do it! Again, do not expect to achieve riches in a very short time, it does take time and for a few special ones it may take months and for most people it probably take years! It all depends on your burning desire and your commitment to creating wealth so that you can enjoy a better lifestyle!

Internet Marketing With Free Advertising

One overlooked or misused form of advertising is free advertising. However, this can be a very important means of growing your business.

There are innumerable free classified advertising sites on the internet. Obviously, some will be better than others, and the value of any site may be anywhere from good for your business to a total waste of time.

One immediately visible advantage of free advertising is the adjective, "free". Many people starting internet businesses simply do not have the funds to buy advertising.

By the same token, a disadvantage to free advertising is that since it is free, everybody floods it with all kinds of ads, and it is easy for your message to get lost in the flood of advertisements.

Another disadvantage is that unlike people who look through newspaper classifieds or advertising papers such as are found at the local convenience store, few people on the Internet actually visit online classified sites in hopes of finding a car or piece of stereo equipment. Even if they do, they are not likely to see your ad if you are trying to interest someone in an internet income opportunity.

So, how can you turn free advertising to your advantage?

First, as mentioned, some sites will have the potential for improving your business in one way or another, and some will be totally worthless. Since the advertisement itself may or may not be effective, or may or may not be effective at a certain website, testing is necessary. Different ads must be tried, and they must be tried on different sites.

A difficulty in determining the value of a given free advertising site is the fact that with the advent of automatic advertising submitters, many sites are hardly ever visited by humans any more. Only the automatic programs drop by and leave off their ads and move on to the next site. Therefore, one of the first criteria to look for might be whether or not ads must be manually posted. At least in that case, humans will visit and may actually see your ad.

By the way, even a site which can be posted to automatically may be of value in the area of linking and search engine optimization. Most of these links will be fleeting or of little value to a search engine spider, but you may be able to build a little stable of sites which will help search engines find your site. I know of several sites where I regularly post ads exactly for this purpose. Ablewise.com (which requires manual submission) for example is regularly visited by search engine spiders, and if I place an ad there, the page I have linked to will soon show up in search engine listings.

Second, free advertising is most effective if it is not used to sell anything. In fact, it will operate best when you use the free advertising to give something of value away in order to establish a condition of trust between yourself and a prospective customer. In the heyday of mail order advertising, this was often referred to as the "two step" method.

It worked, and still works, like this. The seller offers a free report, such as "How to Make Money from Your Kitchen Table". The ad simply makes the offer, and often would request the reader to send a "free, self-addressed, stamped envelope" for the free report. In this way, the seller was able to get his materials in the hands of several interested parties for only the cost of the report and the ad. The seller was saved the postage by the reader who provided the envelope and postage. Enclosed with the report were materials offering other items, often more reports, which were sold by the seller.

If the seller had provided a report of value on the first mailing, it was possible that the reader would purchase one of the items. If not, the name and address was still on the seller's records (mailing list) and the reader would receive more mailings and/or a collection of such names and addresses would be sold to others who had not built their own lists as yet.

The same thing is done on the internet, and many successful advertisements offer free advertising, software, reports, or services in order to entice the online reader to respond, thus placing his or her contact information at the disposal of the advertiser.

This sort of advertising on the internet has spawned two distinct "advertising" methods which, while free, are not actually advertisements. These two methods are the writing of articles and the creation of lead capture pages.

When someone writes an article of interest or value, they can publish it for free at several sites on the internet. They are usually allowed to include a little information about themselves, including a link to their business website. Generally, to be most effective, the article will be on a subject relevant to the topic of their website and product. Since these articles may eventually be placed on hundreds of websites over long periods of time and are mainly read by those interested in the topic, they are very effective as "advertising". If the author writes well and provides value, the reader may come to respect the writer well enough to accept their advice or guidance and purchase goods or services from them.

With a lead capture page, the reader cannot get the free gift, which is often information, but sometimes a service or product, without giving the advertiser their name and contact information. The advertiser will then use this information to regularly make offers of their products. It is quite common for an internet surfer to leave his or her name and email address in order to receive a course of some kind which is delivered by email to their inbox. The course will be delivered as a series of messages over time, and each will contain the advertiser's sales message. The content of the course will often be relevant to the product being sold. In time, the advertiser assumes the stature of friend and expert in the eyes of the reader, and this will often result in a sale being made.

Free advertising can often be effectively used to lead potential customers to the lead capture pages or even to the articles where they can begin to make the acquaintance of the writer. While the free advertisement seldom is effective in actually spawning a sale, it can be an excellent means of gathering customers.

3 Reasons to Secure Your Own Domain Name - Even if it means Buying Cheap Web Hosting Services

When starting an online business, you might be tempted to use one of those "free" web page hosting services. You should beware of these plans if you want to build a successful web business. Having your own domain name is extremely important - even if it means buying cheap web hosting services! Here are three solid reasons you should secure your own domain name.

1. Build Trust with Customers

When visitors arrive at your site, they want to know that your company is legitimate and that it is there to stay. With your own domain name you reveal that you are in it for the long haul. For the mere price of cheap web hosting through a virtual host, you can have your own domain name and site up and running for as little as $20 or less as an initial investment. Some low cost hosting packages are as low as $5 or $6 per month!

It's well worth the investment to establish your own domain name and pay a small monthly fee for cheap web hosting. When you gain the trust of visitors, it's much easier to turn them into paying customers.

2. Freedom in Your Web Design

With your own domain name, you have total freedom to design your site the way you want. Even virtual hosts that offer cheap web hosting will give you the freedom to use the type of web design that will work best for your business. If you need to use PHP in your web design, you can easily find a low cost web hosting package that offers PHP integration. If you need to add MySQL databases to your site, you can find web site hosting packages with this feature included.

Another reason you need freedom to design your site is so you can test different designs and presentations to see which gets the most response from your visitors. Even with cheap web hosting, you can test almost unlimited presentations any time you want!

3. Maximize Your Promotion Efforts

When you secure your own domain name, you have complete freedom in your promotions. Many search engines, directories and other promotional sites will frown at "free" hosted sites. When you use a free web page hosting service, your site pages are placed on a website along with many other types of businesses. The search engines will not recognize your site as being a unique entity. They might even lump your site into categories with other sites that are using the free service. This wounds your promotional efforts tremendously, and you end up wasting time and money.

You'll actually save money in the long run with your own domain hosting. By securing a domain name and taking advantage of cheap web hosting, you can promote your site to the fullest.

Even with cheap web hosting packages, you can still receive a wealth of features and benefits such as email accounts, auto responders, PHP and MySQL capabilities, password protected directories and even reseller hosting opportunities.

Use these tips to start building your web business today!

Components of Search Engine Optimization

A number of factors are important when optimizing a website, including content, structure of the website's copy, page layout, HTML meta-tags, standards used for designing HTML pages and the submission process. While a site is being optimized it includes four main components Researching Keywords, Adding META Tags, Submitting website on various search engines and Exchanging links with other related websites.

The activities that are performed on the website pages are placed under On Page SEO and activities which are not performed on the website pages falls in Off Page SEO head. The process of optimizing a website starts with researching keywords, then on page and finally off page, which is an ongoing process.

On Page SEO

1) Keyword Research - It starts with browsing the website in detail, having discussions with the site owner to gather information about business model and target market. Basis this keywords for which the site will be optimized are researched.

2) Google Analytic Account - This tool of Google gives administrator an option to keep viewing the traffic hitting the website on different pages. To use these tools an account is to be created with Google, further to which a code is provided which is to be added in all the pages of the website.

3) On Page Optimization - Once keywords are finalized, we will get started will adding META tags and making any changes to the page required for Search engines to parse. This process mainly comprise of adding META tags, chosen keywords, phrases to make them more SEO friendly with respect to the selected keywords, adding H1 tags, ALT tags checking for broken links.

Off Page SEO

1) Search Engines Submission - Once the On Page is done site will then be submitted to all major search engines and this process of submission will again be repeated after 6 months for new pages to get indexed.

2) XML sitemap for Google - An XML based sitemap will be created for Google, this is required to index all the pages in the website and differentiate the relative weight-age of each page.

3) Directory postings - During this the site will be listed on various free directories. This submission will again be done gradually to ensure organic growth of the website. Submitting to all the directories in one time will invoke filters and may adversely affect the site ranking.
